In the introduction of this bachelor thesis is described general method of casting metal and historical development of casting. Below is presented titanium as metal that we are casting, it's properties and chemical composition, different alloys and the process of their formation. To find good application for these groups of alloys, some of benefits and disadvantages of each are listed. Problems we come by when casting titanium are described, some of them are: making the model, making the mold, melting of the metal and achieving good casting force. The process of constructing, production planning of titanium casting product is worked out, and it is pointed to why simulations can help us achieve quality of a product, help with constructing and correcting errors. Machine for casting SuperCast A5 is briefly described aswell as working with it, as it is commercially available variant of casting titanium with relatively low price. Errors that may occur during centrifugal casting are described as well as possible corrections of errors.
