The thesis presents the theoretical foundations needed to understand additive production. In addition to a detailed description of additive production, a presentation of model making by one of the additive methods (FDM) was made with an explanation of each step. The theoretical basis consists of describing the process of additive production with the basic concepts that need to be understood in order to approach the development of a model with one of the technologies. Also, each additive manufacturing process is described with a description of the materials and software used for each process. For each procedure, the creator or manufacturer of the equipment is also given. The creation of the model consisted of modeling the future object, to its creation on an FDM printer. Each step is described in detail with pictorial examples of the fabrication phase. The model is made according to the logo of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Slavonski Brod. The modeling was done in the computer program SolidWorks 2015, and preparation for printing in the software UltiMaker Cura 4.9.1. A blue PLA material, 1.75 mm in diameter, was used for the production. The modeling process is Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and the TRONXY P802MA printer was used to make it.
