In this master thesis, through the concept of levitation; respectively floating, which with the application of magnet technology is used for vehicle to be driven by replacing axles, wheels and bearings. Magnetic levitation allows a vehicle to hover a short distance off the rails using magnets that create lift and thrust. For this reason, Maglev trains move more easily and much more quietly than traditional forms of wheeled vehicles, the use of which is visible around the world. Regardless of the fact that nowadays in the application of conventional forms of trains which moves at high speeds, Maglev is still famous for the fastest form of vehicle in railway traffic. In the first part of the paper, the conceptual meaning of magnet and magnetism is determined, the forms of magnetism are described and the magnetic field is defined. Superconductivity and superconductors are also analysed in detail. In the second part of the paper, magnetic levitation is explained through the principles of operation where the calculation of radio frequency levitation is described. In the follow-up this thesis deals with the analysis of the most famous form of magnetic levitation Maglev through the historical development, features, technology, characteristics and the Maglev rail. In the last chapter of the paper, the calculation is created which is then compared to the computer simulation of it.
