One of the main obstacles in managing one's own money well is not being able to know the products and services of the financial industry that are used. People expect that everyone will use loans one day, so it is important to understand the terminology, these loans and their relationship. Nowadays, there are different types of loans, but the most common division is according to maturity, namely short-term, medium-term and long-term loans. There are different types of loan repayment, and these are most often the repayment model with equal annuities, the repayment model with pre- agreed annuities, and the repayment model with constant repayment quotas. Getting a home loan and achieving financial responsibility is the goal of every person, but also finding suitable housing or real estate is the most responsible financial matter in every persons life. In order for users who belong to a certain social group to get the most favourable housing loan, it is necessary for the requested bank branch to define the loan purpose, the loan required amount, the currency in which the users take out the loan, and the required maturity. When the bank receives such an inquiry, it will offer the loan user everything it currently has in terms of lending. Users take out a home loan when it comes to creating their own home, building a house or buying an apartment. A large number of banks in the Republic of Croatia offer a solution to this problem, i.e. taking out a housing loan.
