Abstract
Razvoj CNC strojeva seže do kraja četrdesetih, početka pedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, na sveučilište MIT. Započeo je razvoj NC strojeva koji su preteča današnjih CNC strojeva. U odnosu na klasične strojeve, CNC strojevi pokazuju znatnu superiornost. CNC tokarilice imaju široku primjenu, od avioindustrije, automobilske industrije, elektrotehnike pa sve do medicine. Programiranje CNC tokarilica predstavlja složen postupak koji se sastoji od više koraka. Najprije je potrebno prikupiti svu potrebnu tehnološku dokumentaciju pa tek započeti programiranje stroja. Zatim se izrađuje probni uzorak te ako se zadovolje uvjeti kreće se s proizvodnjom. U današnje vrijeme, primjena postprocesora znatno olakšava i ubrzava postupak pisanja programa otkako programer ne treba pisati ručno program već postprocesor obavlja pisanje programa uzimajući u obzir karakteristike i kinematiku stroja na kojem će se proizvod raditi.
Abstract (english)
The development of CNC machines dates back to the late forties, early fifties years of the last century, to MIT University. In those years, the development of the NC machines, which are the forerunners of today's CNC machines, began. Compared to classic machines, CNC machines show considerable superiority. CNC lathes are widely used, from aviation industry, automotive industry, electrical engineering all around to the medicine. Programming of CNC lathes is a complex process consisting of several steps. First of all, you need to collect all the necessary technological documentation and then start programming. Then a test sample is being made and if all conditions are met, production can start. Nowadays, the application of postprocessors extremely simplifies and speeds up the process of writing a program since programmer does not have to write the program manually but the postprocessor writes the program while taking into account the characteristics and kinematics of the machine on which the product will be produced
