Abstract
Povijesno gledano sirovinska i resursna osnova multinacionalnih korporacija bila je karakteristična krajem 19. te u 20. stoljeću kada su se znatno razvijale. Osnovna uloga kojom se multinacionalne korporacije vode je aktivno i koordinirano upravljanje operacijama u različitim zemljama što je upravo razlog njihovog uspješnog poslovanja. Poslovan odnos orijentiran na svjetsko tržište podrazumijeva korištenje međunarodnom logikom prilikom razvoja proizvodnje, tehnologije i tržišta, a tržišnu i konkurentsku snagu korporacije ostvaruju izravnim i aktivnim utjecajem na konkurentski odnos na međunarodnoj razini. Industrijske djelatnosti kojima se bave multinacionalne korporacije, upravo su zaslužne za ostvarene velike i moćne korporacije, za njihova inozemna ulaganja, širenje broja podružnica i poslovnih aktivnosti. Pozitivna strana multinacionalnih korporacija je ta što svojim snažnim razvojnim i tržišnim potencijalima korporacije osiguravaju različite resurse u brojnim zemljama u kojima djeluju, a to su: transfer tehnologije i znanja za građane, veća zaposlenost, međunarodni tržišni standard, bolja osnova za razvoj, konkurentsko osposobljavanje i slično. Dakle multinacionalne korporacije od samog svoj razvoja pa sve do danas imaju veliki utjecaj na društvo i države.
Abstract (english)
Multinational corporations' crude material and resource bases were historically typical of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when they grew rapidly. Multinational corporations' primary job is active and coordinated administration of activities in several countries, which is the key to their success. The use of interational logic in the development of production, technology and markets and competitive strength of corporations are achieved by direct and active influence on the competitive relationship at the international level, are all examples of business relationships oriented to the world market. The vast and powerful corporations, their overseas investments, and the increase of the number of branches and business operations are all due to multinational businesses' industrial activities. The positive side of multinational corporations is that with their strong development and market potentials corporations provide various resources in many countries in which they operate, namely: technology transfer and knowledge for citizens, higher employment, international market standard, better basis for development, competitive training and similar. So multinational corporations from their very development until today have a great impact on society and states.
