Abstract
Tradicionalni tehnički materijali vrlo često nemaju dovoljno dobra svojstva, odnosno ne ispunjavaju tražene zahtjeve za pojedine radne uvjete ili korisnike. U okviru razvoja kompozitnih materijala istražuje se koja kombinacija matrice i ojačala će imati optimalnu kombinaciju traženih mehaničkih, fizikalnih, tehnoloških i ostalih svojstava. U radu je navedena podjela kompozitnih materijala, njihove prednosti i nedostaci te općenito područja primjene. Za pojedine skupine kompozitnih materijala; kompozite s česticama, kompozite s vlaknima i strukturne kompozite navedene su karakteristike, svojstva i primjeri primjene. Sažeto su predstavljeni suvremeni kompoziti i opisane metode proizvodnje kompozita.
Abstract (english)
Traditional technical materials very often do not have good enough properties, that is, they do not meet the required requirements for certain working conditions or users. In the framework of the development of composite materials, it is investigated which combination of matrix and reinforcement will have the optimal combination of required mechanical, physical, technological and other properties. The paper describes the division of composite materials, their advantages and disadvantages, and general areas of application. For certain groups of composite materials; composites with particles, composites with fibers and structural composites, the characteristics, properties and application examples are listed. Contemporary composites are briefly presented and composite production methods are described.
