Globalization is a global process that is very dynamic and complex in nature, encompasses a large part of the human environment, and also has cause-and-effect relationships that are closely related to the movement of the economy in individual national economies. Since globalization has existed, it has offered humanity a wide range of opportunities, improvements and advancements. However, like any change, it brings with it those bad factors, a number of problems due to which some states cannot function as they should. Some more developed countries, which were already stronger both economically and economically, have managed to develop unique mechanisms and create economic policies and measures, ensure economic growth and ultimately skillfully fight the latest challenges of globalization, which has led to great advantages, looking at other countries. The greatest success is satisfaction and increased and satisfying standard of citizens. The implications of globalization are largely reflected in the economy of the Republic of Croatia, unfortunately, more negatively, which indicates that business entities and institutions themselves are not organized and prepared in advance to devise a good way of functioning of globalization that would help development, not set it back. The Republic of Croatia and its system are not strong enough to withstand the temptations and complex demands of this process. Business practice has become passive and therefore the entrepreneurial climate is considered very bad, there is also no implementation of reforms that are of great help to the state and its functioning. The purpose of this paper is to show the impact of globalization on the world and on the Republic of Croatia and its pros and cons of change in the country. The aim of the research is to explain and describe in more detail the economic, social and societal branches during the process of globalization.
