Abstract U svijetu postoji nekoliko vrsta goriva koja se upotrebljavaju u energetske svrhe. U ovome radu naglasak je bio na prirodnom plinu i lož ulju. Prilikom pisanja definiran je prirodni plin, isto tako spomenut je njegov sastav i karakteristike. Također, pojašnjeni su načini dobivanja, proizvodnje, te skladištenja i transporta, isto kao i primjena istoga. Nakon kratkog uvoda o plinu, dolazi dio o plinskim instalacijama u kojemu je opisana mjerna i regulacijska tehnika, plinske instalacije te određivanje promjera cijevi. U poglavlju koje govori o mjernoj i regulacijskoj tehnici opisani su membranski plinomjeri, način rada, odabir i ugradnja istih. Također, u istom poglavlju spomenuti su i regulatori, njihova primjena te primjena na niskotlačnim priključcima. U poglavlju koje govori o plinskim instalacijama opisana je izrada plinskih cijevi, te instalacija plinskih vodova, odnosno polaganje vanjskih cijevi, spoj kućnog priključka te postavljanje unutarnjih cijevi. Zadnji dio poglavlja plinskih instalacija govori o određivanju promjera cijevi te daje uvid u to na koji se način određuje. Primarni zadatak praktičnoga dijela je projekt plinske instalacije osnovne škole koja je prethodno svoj sustav grijanja na lož ulje prebacila na plinsko grijanje. Na temelju toga, izrađen je cjelokupni proračun plinske instalacije iste. U posljednjem dijelu rada osnovni cilj je bio ukazati na isplativost samoga projekta kako po ekonomskoj računici, tako i po emisiji CO2.. Izvršena je ekonomsko-ekološka analiza grijana na lož ulje u odnosu na prirodni plin, u kojoj su brojčano vidljivi rezultati iste, isto tako prikazan je i vremenski period povratka same investicije.
Abstract (english) There are seberal types of fuels that are used for energy purposes. In this work the emphasis is on natural gas and fuel oil. During writting this work, natural gas is defined and its composition and characteristics are mentioned. Also, methods of obtaining, production, storage and transport are explained as wel as its application. After a short introduction about gas, there is a part about gas installation in which are described metric and regulation tehniques, gas installations and determination of pipe diameters, in section about metric and regulation techniques, membrane gas meters, mode of work selection and its installation are described. Also, in same chapter, regulators are mentioned with its application and application in low pressure connections. Section about gas installation describes production of gas pipes, as well as their installation, laying of external pipes, connection between house and pipes and setting of internal pipes. Last parto f the chapter about gas instalation talks about determining diameter of pipes and also gives insight into how it is determined. Primary task of the practical parti s a gas installation project on primary school which previously switched its heating from fuel oil to gas heating. Based on that, the whole calculation of gas installation was made. In last part of this work, the main goal was show cost effectivenees of the project itself both in economic and CO2 emission terms. An economic ecological analysis based on comparision between fuel oil heating and gas heating was made from which are visible numerically results of that analysis and time period of return investment is also shown.
