Abstract
U završnom radu analizirano je iskorištavanje geotermalne energije primjenom geotermalnih elektrana. Opisane su vrste i principi rada geotermalnih elektrana. Napravljena je usporedba cijene električne energije proizvedene u geotermalnim elektranama s cijenom električne energije proizvedene iz drugih vrsta elektrana. Preko geotermalnog gradijenta vidimo kolika je iskoristivost nekog područja za dobivanje električne energije iz geotermalne energije. U Panonskom dijelu Hrvatske je najveći potencijal iskorištenja geotermalne energije. te je opisana prva geotermalna elektrana Velika 1 u RH koja je izgrađena u Velikoj Cigleni, a koja je i najveća takve vrste u Europi. Utjecaj geotermalnih elektrana na okoliš očituje se kroz zagađenje površinskih voda, emisiju štetnih plinova, mogućnost propadanja tla, utjecaj na biljni i životinjski svijet te u otpadnoj toplini. Intenzitet štetnosti na okoliš ovisi o nizu faktora, kao što su fizičko – kemijska svojstva zagađivača, geološke značajke izvora te o tehničko – tehnološkim karakteristikama elektrana.
Abstract (english)
In the final paper, the utilization of geothermal energy using geothermal power plants is analyzed. The types and principles of operation of geothermal power plants are described. A comparison of the price of electricity produced in geothermal power plants with the price of electricity produced from other types of power plants was made. Through the geothermal gradient we see how useful the area is to obtain electricity from geothermal energy. The Pannonian part of Croatia has the greatest potential for the use of geothermal energy. and describes the first geothermal power plant Velika 1 in the Republic of Croatia, which was built in Velika Ciglena, and which is the largest of its kind in Europe. The impact of geothermal power plants on the environment is manifested through surface water pollution, emissions of harmful gases, the possibility of soil deterioration, the impact on flora and fauna and waste heat. The intensity of environmental damage depends on a number of factors, such as physico - chemical properties, geological characteristics of the source and technical - technological characteristics of power plants.
