Fossil fuel supplies are dwindling, environmental and atmospheric pollution by greenhouse gases is increasing which has caused the need to find new forms of energy. Hydrogen as an element and fuel has long been known, and due to such circumstances, scientists have begun to more seriously investigate hydrogen as a fuel and its application in fuel cells. All three forms of hydrogen (gray, blue and green) are increasingly used in everyday industrial and transport processes, and fuel cell technology is evolving more and more every day, increasing their application and efficiency. Consequently, hydrogen and hydrogen fuel cells have found application in production and transport systems, but also in energy. A key area where further development is needed is the way hydrogen is stored, transported and distributed, either by new technologies or by upgrading and adapting existing systems. The system of application of hydrogen and hydrogen cells is increasingly showing that it has good safety aspects and is less dangerous compared to conventional fossil fuels, but there are still certain prejudices regarding its use. Only by further increasing the knowledge base on hydrogen, hydrogen fuel cells, it is possible to reach the level of comfort of using hydrogen as a fuel, which is already being largely worked on by creating databases on hydrogen, its incidents and circumstances.
