Abstract
Zadatak ovoga rada je dimenzioniranje shell and tube izmjenjivača topline u jednom prolazu. Objašnjen je princip rada i karakteristike shell and tube izmjenjivača topline, a zatim je, na osnovi zadanih podataka o masenim protocima i temperaturama tople i hladne vode, izvršen preliminarni proračun za određivanje dimenzija shell and tube izmjenjivača topline. Nakon preliminarne analize provedena je provjera dobivenih dimenzija izračunom koeficijenta prolaza topline, i padova tlaka na strani plašta i cijevi. Izračunate geometrijske karakteristike izmjenjivača topline omogućuju prijenos zadanog toplinskog toka, ali za dobivanje optimalnih vrijednosti potrebna je dodatna analiza.
Abstract (english)
The assignment of this thesis is the sizing of a shell and tube heat exchanger with a single tube pass. Firstly the work principles and characteristics of the heat exchanger are explained which is followed by a preliminary analysis to determine the dimensions. Following the preliminary analysis a review is conducted by calculating the heat transfer coefficient, shell and tube side pressure drops. The calculated geometric characteristics of the heat exchanger allow for the transfer of the required heat duty, but for the optimal values a further analysis is required.
