Abstract
Obiteljsko nasilje je postao jako raširen i čest problem današnjice. Najčešća implicitna pretpostavka šire javnosti je da su muškarci nasilnici, a žene i djeca žrtve, no nije to nužno tako. Svaki slučaj nasilja ima drugačiju priču, nasilnika i žrtve. Postoje rizični čimbenici za zlostavljanje djece koji proizlaze iz djece i roditelja, te zaštitni čimbenici koji proizlaze iz djece i roditelja. Ponekada je teško prepoznati zlostavljače, pa su stoga u ovom radu prikazane uobičajene karakteristike zlostavljača, te oblici prevencije i načini pomoću kojih se mogu otkriti zlostavljači. Postoji više vrsta nasilja, ali će se ovaj rad najviše osvrnuti na: tjelesno, emocionalno i seksualno zlostavljanje djece. Cilj rada je dočarati veličinu ovog socijalnog problema, te prikazati koliko su zapravo djeca u današnjem vremenu izložena obiteljskom nasilju, koliko mogu biti nezaštićena i ugrožena od strane svojih najbliskijih osoba.
Abstract (english)
Family violence has become a widespread and frequent problem today. The most common assumption is that men are bullies and women and children are victims, but this is not necessarily the case. Every case of violence has a different story, the bully and the victim. There are risk factors for child abuse that arise from children and parents, and protective factors that arise from children and parents. Sometimes it is difficult to recognize abusers, so this paper presents the usual characteristics of abusers, as well as forms of prevention and methods by which abusers can be detected. There are several types of violence, but this paper will focus mostly on: physical, emotional and sexual abuse of children. The aim of the work is to portray the magnitude of this social problem, and to show how much children are actually exposed to family violence today, how unprotected and threatened they are by their closest people.
