Following the curriculum, the educator is obliged to encourage the child to think independently and use it to create knowledge. Children's learning together reinforces the social process because they are different in their perspectives, opinions and knowledge. The child's musical upbringing begins from birth and is of great importance for the child's complete development. Looking at a holistic approach to a child's development, and bearing in mind that music is one of the child's ways of expression, the National Curriculum in its guidelines accepts and encourages „creative expression of children's ideas, experiences and feelings in various artistic areas and expressive media.“ (National Curriculum, 2015, p. 26). The active participation of the community in social and cultural events is also encouraged, as well as respect for the historical heritage of traditional dances. Music creates a relaxed, warm, pleasant and joyful atmosphere In music education in kindergarten, activities can be carried out listening to music, singing, playing children's or Orff's instrumentation, dancing to a song and learning counters. Through research for the purposes of the thesis, the frequency of musical activities carried out by educators, which activities they carry out most often, how they view the importance of music in kindergarten and how they share musical content with the parents of children from the educational group, was examined. The research was conducted through a survey questionnaire using the Google form. Educators working in the system of education for early and preschool education were examined. The obtained results showed that the participants often listen to music, perform dance activities and sing in their daily work with children. The research gave birth to already existing knowledge that playing children's instruments is the least represented activity. This research raises new questions and topics that would need to be researched and written about in professional and scientific form, all for the purpose of the highest possible approach to preschool education.
