Abstract
Značenje poezije Grigora Viteza od temeljne je važnosti za razvoj i samoodređenje zrelog doba hrvatske dječje književnosti 20. stoljeća. Možemo reći da, zahvaljujući Grigoru Vitezu, hrvatska dječja književnost zrelog doba stoji uz bok razvojnim tokovima svjetske dječje književnosti. U ovome radu nastojala sam prikazati kako i na koje načine Vitez uklapa elemente prirode (životinje, biljke, zvukove, prirodne pojave) u stihove te ih na nadasve neobičan način (poigravajući se strukturom stiha i rimom) dočarava i približava recipijentima (u ovom slučaju djeci). Odgojitelji, upoznati s Vitezovim stvaralaštvom, koriste određene Vitezove antologijske pjesme u svome radu s predškolskom djecom tijekom svoga cjelogodišnjeg rada. Prema njihovim iskazima (prikazanim i obrađenim kroz anketne odgovore) poetska ostavština Grigora Viteza i dan danas je od izuzetne važnosti za razvoj maštovitosti, kreativnog razmišljanja djece predškolske dobi.
Abstract (english)
The significance of Grigor Vitez's poetry is of fundamental importance for the development and self-definition of the Mature Period of Croatian children's literature in the 20th century. We can say that, thanks to Grigor Vitez, Croatian children's literature of the Mature Period stands alongside the developmental trends of world children's literature. In this work, I have attempted to illustrate how and in what ways Vitez incorporates elements of nature (animals, plants, sounds, natural phenomena) into his verses and vividly conveys them to recipients (in this case, children) in a particularly unique way (by playing with the structure of the verse and rhyme). Educators familiar with Vitez's work use certain anthological poems by Vitez in their work with preschool children throughout the year. According to their statements (as shown and analyzed through survey responses), Grigor Vitez's poetic legacy remains of exceptional importance today for the development of the imagination and creative thinking of preschool children.
