Abstract
Početni sustav paljenja u Ottovim motorima s unutarnjim izgaranjima zasnivao se na mehaničkim elementima. Potrošnja tih elemenata dovodila je do upitnog rada motora, samim time i do povećanja potrošnje goriva, emisije ispušnih plinova i smanjenog vijek trajanja motora i popratnih dijelova. Kako su se elektroničke komponente razvijale tako su se i dodavale u sustav paljenja gorive smjese. Sve elektroničke komponente koje su dodane u sustav su doprinijele smanjenju potrošnje, povećanju snage i okretnog momenta motora i smanjenju emisije ispušnih plinova. Sustav paljenja u Ottovu motoru baziran je na visokom naponu koji preko indukcijskog svitka putuje do svjećice koja stvara iskru i zapaljuje smjesu goriva i zraka. Razvoj sustava je olakšao majstorima dijagnostiku kvara zbog mogućnosti praćenja rada motora time što je konstruirana upravljački sklop koji prikuplja podatke preko senzora i mikroračunala.
Abstract (english)
The initial ignition systems in Otto's internal combustion engine were based on mechanical elements. The consumption of these elements led to questionable engine operation and thus increwased fuel consumption, exhaust emissions and reduce servise life of rhe engine and associated parts. As the electrical components evolved, they were added to the system have contributed to reduced consumption, increased engine power and torque and reduced exhaust emissions. The ignition system in Otto's engine is based on high voltage thet travels trough and induction coil to a spark plug thats creates a spark and ignites a micture of fuel and air. The developm,ent of the system made it easier for the mechanical to diagnose the fault due to the possibility of monitoring the operation of the engine by counstructing a Engine Control Unit that collects data via sensors and microprocessors.
