Abstract
Diplomski rad tematizira održivi razvoj u multinacionalnim poduzećima, fokusirajući se na njihove izazove i primjere provedbe održivog razvoja. U uvodu se navode ciljevi i svrha rada te metodologija koja je korištena u pisanju rada. Na temelju provedenog istraživanja stavova o održivom razvoju, zaključeno je da se prepoznaje važnost održivog razvoja, međutim, pokazalo se da postoji nedostatak znanja o održivom razvoju i kako ga implementirati. Također, analizirani se izazovi s kojima se multinacionalna poduzeća suočavaju u ostvarivanju održivosti, uključujući složenost opskrbnog lanca, nedostatak mjernih alata među državama i industrijama te nedostatak svijesti i razumijevanja o održivosti među zaposlenicima, potrošačima i investitorima. Na kraju, u zaključku rada sažimaju se ključne analize i iznose se preporuke za multinacionalna poduzeća kako bi se unaprijedila njihova održivost, te se predlažu moguće smjernice za buduća istraživanja.
Abstract (english)
The thesis discusses sustainable development in multinational companies, focusing on their challenges and examples of sustainable development implementation. The introduction outlines the objectives and purpose of the thesis, as well as the methodology used in writing it. Based on the conducted research on attitudes towards sustainable development, it was concluded that the importance of sustainable development is recognized, but there is a lack of knowledge on how to implement it. Furthermore, challenges faced by multinational companies in achieving sustainability are analyzed, including supply chain complexity, a lack of measurement tools among countries and industries, and a lack of awareness and understanding of sustainability among employees, consumers, and investors. Finally, the conclusion summarizes the key analyses and provides recommendations for multinational companies to improve their sustainability, as well as suggesting possible directions for future research.
