Abstract
U autoindustriji danas postoji dosta različitih tipova kočionih diskova i pločica koji su od velike važnosti za sam proces kočenja. U diplomskom radu opisan je kočioni sustav kod automobila, njegove vrste, izbor i pregled stanja materijala za izradu diskova i kočionih pločica te eksperimentalni dio u kojem se provodila metalografija navedenih dijelova u koje spadaju mjerenje tvrdoća različitim metodama (Vickers i Brinell), provjere i analize mikrostruktura u poliranom i nagriženom stanju. Da bi smo poboljšali funkciju ovog tribosustava, od velike je važnosti razvitak odgovarajućih kompatibilnih materijala.
Abstract (english)
Today, there are quite a few different types of brake discs and pads in the auto industry that are of great importance for the braking process itself. This master thesis describes the brake system in cars, its types, the selection and review of the state of materials for the manufacture of disks and brake pads, and the experimental part in which metalography of the mentioned parts was carried out, which include measuring hardness by different methods (Vickers and Brinell), checking and analyzing microstructures in a polished and eroded state. In order to improve the function of this tribosystem, it is of great importance to develop appropriate compatible materials.
