The subject of this thesis is the financial environment of the company. The focus is on analyzing and highlighting the factors that currently have a certain type of influence on the quality and work performance of the company. The overall importance of the financial system for the economy is summarized and the potential threats it faces are highlighted. In the first part of the thesis, the financial system is defined. Its basic elements and a collection of their basic characteristics are listed and explained in more detail. Furthermore, it is explained what the micro and macro environment of a company are, what are the fundamental factors of these environments and how they affect the successful functioning of the company. Finally, an analysis of the Croatian National Bank and its main features is carried out. The importance of macroprudential policy in achieving financial stability is emphasized, financial reports are attached, and the importance of maintaining quality international relations is established.
