Abstract
Temeljni cilj svakog poduzeća ili organizacije je stvaranje dobiti ili dodane vrijednosti za svoje vlasnike. Svako poduzeće postavlja određene ciljeve koje nastoji ostvariti. Podloga za ostvarivanje postavljenih ciljeva i funkcioniranje sustava su određena načela, norme i pravila ponašanja. Nadzor je mehanizam koji elemente sustava povezuje, osigurava ostvarivanje postavljenih ciljeva, uspješno funkcioniranje, rast, razvoj i opstanak sustava. Interna revizija je nadzor koji ispituje i ocjenjuje ukupnost funkcioniranja poslovnog sustava i daje mišljenje i prijedloge za poboljšanje njegova poslovanja. Cilj ovog rada je naglasiti važnost i proces interne revizije koja utječe na uspješnost poslovanja i povećanje produktivnost, kao i povezanost s internim kontrolama i upravljanjem rizicima poduzeća ili organizacije. Rad je usmjeren na razumijevanje važnosti adekvatnih internih kontrola, kvalitetnog praćenja faza procesa interne revizije i primjenu danih preporuka.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of any business or organization is to create profit or added value for its owner. Every company sets certain goals that it strives to achieve. The basis for achieving the set goals and the functioning of the system are certain principles, normes and rules of conduct. Supervision is a mechanism that connect the elements of the system, ensures the realization of the main goals, the successful functioning, growth and developement. Internal audit is suprevision that examines and evaluates the overall functioning of the business system and provides opinions and suggestions for improving its operations. The aim of this graduate thesis is to emphasize the importance and process of internal audit that affect business performance and increase productivity, as well as connection with internal controls and risk management of the company or organization. Graduate thesis is focused on understanding the importance of adequate internal controls, quality monitoring of the stages of the internal audit process and the implementation of the given recommendations.
