Over the past few years, consciousness develops how the success of the project is the foundation of successful and quality business. Project management is becoming increasingly important both in managing project and in the company itself. Preference is given to interpersonal relationships, knowledge and skills, and extremely important teamwork. There is an increasing need for new strategies, new projects, which can ensure the survival, development and success of the company. Due to the growing number of irresponsible owners, abandoned, lost and neglected animals, an increasing number of projects for the construction asyulm for dogs are emerging. Precisely because of such situations, each city / municipality should establish an information center, implement adoption programs and educate citizens on how to take care of animals. In this final paper, the term project is defined, which are participants in the project implementation process and the phases of the project life cycle are listed. Then emphasis is given on the importance of project management, but also on how to manage the project. Furthermore, the project activities related to the construction of a asylum for dogs , where are described and analyses all the objectives, results, costs, method of monitoring and promotion of the project. The main goal of the project is to help abandoned, sick and abused stray dogs, but also to encourage volunteerism and develop an awareness of responsibility towards animals and humane treatment of them. Finally, a survey was developed and conducted to obtain results on whether the construction of asylum for dogs necessary or not.
