Abstract (english) From the beginning of the existence of the planet Earth, the sun is considered to be responsible for every process that takes place in it. Starting with many weather and natural conditions until the appearance of the first flora and fauna, and then people. The sun gives people a large amount of energy that humanity cannot consume, and it is also renewable energy. There is a high demand for energy in the world and the existing potential of renewable energy sources should be exploited, especially due to its ecological significance. In addition to the demand for solar energy for household needs, such as space heating, water and the like, there is a need to use such energy in the automotive industry and other vehicles such as aircraft and boats. Nowadays, such exploitation of solar energy is still in development, but progress is visible. Solar-powered vehicles are electric vehicles whose electric motors are partially or completely powered by solar energy. The conversion of solar energy into electricity is carried out with the help of a photovoltaic cell, ie a module that is located on the vehicle itself, mostly on the roof. Such vehicles are currently in the testing phase and are not being used for commercial purposes, but there are some models available. There are also other vehicles in addition to cars, such as train, bicycle, boats and aircraft. Each of them uses solar energy as the only drive or has an additional drive in addition to the existing one. Solar cars use solar energy to charge accumulators, ie batteries that are used to start electric motors, ie the entire vehicle.
