Motivation is a key part of the company's human resources management. The question often arises of which method to motivate employees in order to achieve a satisfactory level of motivation and thus satisfaction in the workplace. From a high level of motivation and advocacy of workers, the company is the one that benefits the most because it achieves its goals, achieves profit faster, but it can be proud that it employs satisfied workers, which at the same time leaves a positive picture in the public and attracts a new workforce because everyone wants to work in successful companies where workers' satisfaction comes first. So, when workers are persistently performing a task, it comes to the realization that they are encouraged by the desire to achieve the goal they find attractive. The aim of this paper in the first part was to study and explain the conceptual determination of motivation, theory and function of motivation, division of employees according to the type of motivator, and in the second part the emphasis is on the research of motivation in employees supported by the mentioned research. The recognition of the human factor as the most important resource of a company is therefore essential in order to rise above competition in all fields.
