Abstract
Multinacionalne kompanije su poduzeća koja upravljaju proizvodnjom ili pružaju usluge u jednoj ili više zemalja i predstavljaju vrlo važne činitelje svjetske privrede. U njima su koncentrirani kapital, znanje, i velik broj zaposlenih. Multinacionalne kompanije temelje svoju proizvodnju na primjeni visoke tehnologije i relativno jeftinoj radnoj snazi. Razvoj tehnike i tehnologije omogućuje im da dijelove nekog konačnog proizvoda proizvode na različitim stranama svijeta, tj. u zemljama u kojima je to najjeftinije. Prve multinacionalne kompanije ubrzano se razvijaju tek nakon Drugog svjetskog rata.
Abstract (english)
Multinational companies are companies that manage production or provide services in one or more countries and represent very important factors in the world economy. They concentrate capital, knowledge, and a large number of employees. Multinational companies base their production on the application of high technology and relatively cheap labor. The development of technique and technology allows them to produce parts of a final product in different parts of the world, ie in countries where it is cheapest. The first multinational companies developed rapidly only after the Second World War.
