The topic of this paper is Testing of welded joint by methods with and without destruction. In the introductory part of the paper, the zones of the welded joint and the changes that occur in them are described. The concept of weldability and the influencing factors on weldability are explained below. The paper describes the importance of standards and their proper application is an inevitable part of every planning process and welding implementation. Since the subject of the paper is the testing of welded joints, the HRN EN ISO 15614-1 standard is described in more detail. The procedures for implementing destructive and non-destructive methods are of great importance for obtaining the final picture of the performed welding procedure. The methods used will be described and will be implemented in the experimental part of the work. In the experimental part of the work, destructive and non-destructive tests of the butt joint of a 30 mm plate were carried out. Tests were performed on the welded joint (hardness test, static test, impact fracture test, bending test, visual inspection, magnetic particle test and radiographic tests). The results showed that the welding was successful because all the results are in accordance with the requirements and norms.
