Abstract
Glavni cilj i svrha završnog rada je prikazati važnost poslovnih banaka u Republici Hrvatskoj, te objasniti glavne pojmove koji se tiču navedene teme rada. Istraživanjem i prikupljanjem pronađeno je mnoštvo informacija vezanih uz bankarstvo i povijesni razvoj bankarstva. Glavni poslovi s kojima se banke bave su izdavanje kredita i održavanje depozita. Imamo raznu podjelu banaka, te razna načela bankarskog sustava ali i mnoštvo rizika koji se ne smiju nikako zanemariti.
Abstract (english)
The main goal and purpose of the final paper is to show the importance of commercial banks in the Republic of Croatia, and to explain the main concepts related to this topic. The research and collection found a wealth of information related to banking and the historical development of banking. The main activities of banks are issuing loans and maintaining deposits. We have various divisions of banks, and various principles of the banking system, but also many risks that must not be ignored.
