Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu izvršena je CFD analiza strujanja zraka oko rotora horizontalne vjetroturbine s tri lopatice sačinjene od 5 različiti Althausovih aeroprofila nazivne snage 1 kW. U preliminarnoj fazi razvoja vjetroturbine pomoću Schmitzove metode definirana je geometrija lopatica vjetroturbine gdje je odabran konačni set Althausovih aeroprofila. Primjenom CAD editora izrađen je 3D model rotora i računske domene te je generirana mreža konačnih volumena. Izvršena je CFD simulacija strujanja zraka oko rotora vjetroturbine i dobivena snaga vjetroturbine prema numeričkom rješenju. Na samom kraju odabrana je efikasnija vjetroturbina, uspoređena su polja brzina i tlaka vjetroturbine definirane Althausovim aeroprofilima s vjetroturbinom iste snage definirane Wortmannovim aeroprofilima.
Abstract (english)
In this masters thesis, a CFD analysis of the air flow around the rotor of a horizontal wind turbine with three blades made of 5 different Althaus airfoils with a nominal power of 1 kW was made. In the preliminary phase of wind turbine development, the geometry of the wind turbine blades was defined using the Schmitz method, where the final set of Althaus airfoils was selected. Using a CAD editor, a 3D model of the rotor and computational domain was created, and a network of finite volumes was generated. A CFD simulation of the air flow around the wind turbine rotor was made and the wind turbine power was calculated according to the numerical solution. At the very end, a more efficient wind turbine was selected, and the wind turbine velocity and pressure fields defined by Althaus airfoils were compared with a wind turbine of the same power defined by Wortmann airfoils.
