Change happens when a new situation or process arises and it happens gradually. Change is the key to the further progress of an organization in order for it to be successful, but not every change means the success of an organization. For change to be successful it must be implemented at the right time and in the right way. Successful implementation of changes can be prevented by employees themselves by providing resistance to change, this resistance to change is a natural reaction because no one likes things to start changing especially if the previous way of doing business worked well. Employees may react differently to change, some will immediately accept the new change while some will offer resistance by starting to complain which can result in reduced productivity. The manager must know how to reduce resistance to change by employees so that the change can be implemented as successfully as possible, and he will do this by finding out why employees are resisting and providing them with all the information relevant to the new change happening. When a manager provides this information to their employees they will be less resistant to change because they will know what awaits them when a particular change is implemented.
