Technology has become an integral part of all of our lives. We spend a large part of our time in front of screens – mobile phones, computers, televisions. Technologies such as virtual and augmented reality are changing the way we use screens and enable interaction. Augmented and virtual reality are very similar concepts, and because of this, people often do not know the difference between these two terms. Virtual reality "places" the user in a computer-programmed virtual world, while augmented reality is different. Augmented reality places digital images in the user's physical environment, usually using a mobile device. The difference is also in the components of these two technologies. The components of AR technology are artificial intelligence, AR software, processing, lenses and sensors. The components of VR technology are VR devices, motionsensors, controllers, and computers and consoles. A survey is presented on the basis of which there spondents' familiarity and opinion about augmented and virtual reality will be determined.
