The aim of this research was to examine the differences in aggressiveness between boys and girls and to determine whether there is a connection between aggressiveness and executive functions. In this research participated 74 children and 74 parents .The children are between the ages of 10 and 12, the average age of the parents is 48.5 years. Two questionnaires were used: the BRIEF-2 questionnaire for parents and the Aggression Scale for children and adolescents. The results confirm the differences between boys and girls in the level of various aspects of aggressiveness, with boys showing significantly higher results in behavior, violent behavior and experiencing themselves as victims of violence by others. Only in behaviors such as defiance and confrontation are there no significant differences between boys and girls. Also, based on the results, the connection between executive functions (regulation of emotions, regulation of behavior and cognitive regulation) and different aspects of aggressiveness is visible. However, experiencing oneself as a victim is not significantly related to any aspect of executive functions.
