Abstract
Hrvatska ima razvijenu željezničku mrežu koja pokriva veći dio zemlje. Glavni željeznički operater je Hrvatske željeznice, koji nude različite vrste usluga, uključujući putnički i teretni prijevoz. Putnički prijevoz željeznicom često se koristi za putovanje između gradova i regija unutar zemlje, a također povezuje Hrvatsku s drugim europskim destinacijama. Osim toga, turistički vlakovi nude putovanja kroz prekrasne krajolike Hrvatske. Međutim, kao i u mnogim drugim zemljama, željeznički promet u Hrvatskoj suočava se s izazovima kao što su održavanje infrastrukture, konkurencija s drugim oblicima prijevoza i potreba za modernizacijom. Ključne riječi: željeznički promet, infrastruktura, koridor, prijevoz putnika i robe
Abstract (english)
Croatia has a developed railway network that covers most of the country. The main railway operator is Hrvatske železnice, which offers various types of services, including passenger and freight transport. Passenger rail transport is often used to travel between cities and regions within the country, and also connects Croatia with other European destinations. In addition, tourist trains offer trips through the beautiful landscapes of Croatia. However, as in many other countries, railway transport in Croatia faces challenges such as infrastructure maintenance, competition with other forms of transport and the need for modernization. Key words: Railway transport, infrastructure, corridor, passenger and goods transport.
