Abstract
Gig ekonomija predstavlja segment ekonomije u kojoj se pojedinci bave obavljanjem kratkoročnih i privremenih poslova. Posao koji žele raditi pronalaze putem raznih platformi gdje se povezuju s klijentima koji trebaju određene usluge. Na taj način pojedinci mogu prihvatiti različite poslove i ponude koje odgovaraju njihovim vještinama. To im nudi mnogo fleksibilnosti, jer mogu rasporediti posao koji treba obaviti, prema vlastitim željama. U empirijskom dijelu diplomskog rada provedena je anketa među radnicima na području gig ekonomije. Pomoću te ankete testirane su istraživačke pretpostavke te su na temelju njih ekstrahirani zaključci. U radu su identificirani brojni pozitivni aspekti gig ekonomije, ali i negativni. Radnici na području gig ekonomije susreću se s raznim izazovima, ali očekuje se bolja regulacija i napredak gig ekonomije u budućnosti tako da bi se i ti izazovi polako trebali savladati.
Abstract (english)
The gig economy represents a segment of the economy in which individuals engage in short-term and temporary jobs. They find the work they want to do through various platforms where they connect with clients who need certain services. In this way, individuals can accept different jobs and offers that match their skills. This offers them a lot of flexibility, as they can schedule the work that needs to be done, according to their own preferences. In the empirical part of the thesis, a survey was conducted among workers in the field of the gig economy. With the help of this survey, research assumptions were tested and conclusions were drawn based on them. The paper identified numerous positive aspects of the gig economy, as well as negative ones. Workers in the field of the gig economy face various challenges, but better regulation and progress of the gig economy is expected in the future, so these challenges should also be slowly overcome.
