Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je identificirati interes djece za izvannastavne sportske aktivnosti iz perspektive roditelja. Za potrebe analize interesa djece za izvannastavne sportske aktivnosti koristio se anketni upitnik koji je sadržavao 12 pitanja. Svi ispitanici svoje slaganje s određenom tvrdnjom iskazivali su pomoću Likertove skale s 5 stupnjeva procjene osim kod kategorijskih varijabli. Uzorak je sastavljen od 401 ispitanika, prosječne kronološke dobi 39,38±5,95 godina. Rezultati pokazuju da prema mišljenju roditelja postoje razni čimbenici koji utječu na interes djece za sudjelovanje u izvannastavnim sportskim aktivnostima. Roditelji najviše potiču djecu na sudjelovanje u izvannastavnim sportskim aktivnostima zbog nekoliko ključnih razloga: omogućavanje interakcije s vršnjacima, osiguranje fizičke aktivnosti i zdravstvenih prednosti, te poticanje discipline i timskog rada kod djece. Roditelji kao najveće čimbenike interesa djece za izvannastavne sportske aktivnosti navode fizičku aktivnost i zdravstvene koristi, prepoznajući njihovu važnost za zdravlje djece. Uz to, roditelji smatraju važnim da djeca kroz sport imaju priliku za interakciju s vršnjacima. Roditelji su također istaknuli i neke od prepreka koje sprječavaju djecu u sudjelovanju u izvannastavnim sportskim aktivnostima. Najčešći razlozi su nedostatak vremena zbog drugih obaveza, manjak pristupačnih sportskih objekata, te nedostatak organiziranih sportskih aktivnosti.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work is to identify children's interest in extracurricular sports activities from the parents' perspective. For the purposes of analyzing children's interest in extracurricular sports activities, a questionnaire containing 12 questions was used. All respondents expressed their agreement with a certain statement using a 5-point Likert scale, except for categorical variables. The sample consisted of 401 respondents, whose average chronological age was 39.38±5.95 years. The results show that, according to parents, there are various factors that influence children's interest in participating in extracurricular sports activities. Parents encourage children to participate in extracurricular sports activities for several key reasons: enabling interaction with peers, ensuring physical activity and health benefits, and also to encourage discipline and teamwork in children. Parents state that physical activity and health benefits are the biggest factors of children's interest in extracurricular sports activities, recognizing their importance for children's health. In addition, parents consider it important that children have the opportunity to interact with their peers through sports.
