Abstract
U ovom završnom radu analiziran je pojam inflacije zajedno s njezinim teorijama i vrstama. Kao što je navedeno u samom radu inflacija predstavlja opće povećanje cijena te pri tom utječe na promjene u stopi nezaposlenosti, raspodjele dohotka te kupovne moći stanovnika. U središte rada stavlja se utjecaj koji inflatorna kretanja imaju na gospodarstvo neke zemlje te posljedice koje ona ostavljaju na stanovništvo i ekonomiju. Također je važno spomenuti uzroke zbog kojih nastaje inflacija te posljedice koje ostaju tijekom njezinog trajanja. Jednako tako navedena je stopa inflacije u Republici Hrvatskoj te načini na koje se inflacija nastoji suzbiti. Za svaku je zemlju poželjno da stopa inflacija bude održana na niskoj i prihvatljivoj razni, stoga su vlade zajedno sa središnjim bankama dužne očuvati blagostanje svojeg gospodarstva. Važno je redovito mjeriti stopu inflacije kako bi se ona mogla pratiti i kontrolirati. Svi podatci o stanju gospodarstva Republike Hrvatske prikupljeni su na službenim stranicama Hrvatskog zavoda za statistiku.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyzes the concept of inflation along with its theories and types. As stated in the paper, inflation represents a general increase in prices, affecting changes in the unemployment rate, income distribution, and purchasing power of citizens. The focus is on the impact that inflationary movements have on the economy of a country and the consequences they have on the population and economy. The causes of inflation and the consequences that remain during its duration are also important to mention. The inflation rate in Croatia is presented, as well as the ways in which inflation is attempted to be suppressed. It is desirable for every country to maintain a low and acceptable inflation rate, so governments and central banks are obliged to preserve the well-being of their economy. It is important to regularly measure the inflation rate to track and control it. All data on the state of the Croatian economy are collected from the official website of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
