Abstract
Promjene u selu i poljoprivredi – tradicionalnom ruralnom društvu, sustavno su zaostajali nekoliko dugih koraka za modernizacijom urbanih područja. Neki ruralno prostori su još uvijek intaktni ili s modernizacijom tek dotaknuti. Takvo načelno stajalište danas se ponešto mijenja. Na to je utjecala sintagma „održivi ruralni razvoj“. Republika Hrvatska započela je s primjenom Programa LEADER koji je donio najveće pomake u poljoprivredi. LEADER pristup u RH primjenjuje se kroz Strategije Lokalnih akcijskih grupa. Kroz rad se upoznaje s nastankom i djelovanjem LAG-ova koji objedinjuju dionike različitih sektora te podižu ruralno područje na višu razinu stvarajući konkurentna područja. Provedeno je kratko istraživanje o LAG-ovima s područja Brodsko-posavske županije gdje su doneseni rezultati o starosnoj dobi osoba koje se bave poljoprivredom kao primarnom djelatnošću, spolu nositelja OPG-a te je prikazano na što poljoprivrednici troše najviše sredstava iz fondova EU.
Abstract (english)
Changes in the countryside and agriculture - a traditional rural society, have systematically lagged behind by several long strides in modernizing urban areas. Some rural areas are still intact or with modernization just touched. Such a principled position is changing somewhat today. This was influenced by the phrase "sustainable rural development". The Republic of Croatia has started implementing the LEADER Program, which has brought the greatest progress in agriculture. The LEADER approach in the Republic of Croatia is applied through the Strategies of Local Action Groups. The paper introduces the creation and operation of LAGs that bring together stakeholders from different sectors and raise the rural area to a higher level by creating competitive areas. A short survey on LAGs from Brod-Posavina County was conducted, where results were obtained on the age of persons engaged in agriculture as a primary activity, the sex of the family farm holder and showed what farmers spend the most on EU funds.
