Abstract
Krumpir (Solanum tuberosum L.) je biljka koja potječe iz Južne Amerike. U Europu su je donijeli pomorci najprije u Italiju odakle se proširila po cijeloj Europi. Krumpir se uzgaja radi gomolja koji se razvije iz podzemne stabljike. Krumpir se kao povrtlarska kultura osim klasičnog načina uzgoja može uzgajati i na alternativne načine, poput uzgoja krumpira u vreći i uzgoja krumpira pod malčem od slame. U prošlosti Krumpir je bio biljka hladnijeg klimata, ali se prilagodila uzgoju i u toplijim područjima. U toplijim područjima zahtijeva navodnjavanje što poskupljuje proizvodnju. Zahtijeva rahla i prozračna tla. Preporuka je da se u plodored vraća svake četiri godine. Cilj rada bio je utvrditi kako pojedini način uzgoja utječe na visinu prinosa gomolja. Proveden je uzgoj krumpira na tri načina: klasični način uzgoja, uzgoj krumpira u vreći i uzgoj krumpira pod malčem od slame. Dobiveni rezultati su pokazali da najveći urod daje klasični način uzgoja, dok su ostala dva načina dala lošije rezultate.
Abstract (english)
Patato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is a plant to South America. It was brought to Europe by sailors firts to Italy from where it spread throughout Europe. Potatoes are grown for their tubers that develop from an underground stem. As a vegetable crop potatoes can be grown in alternative ways, such as growing potatoes in sacks and growing potatoes under straw mulch. Potato is a plant with a colder climate, but it has adapted to growing in warmer areas. In warmer areas it requires irrigation which makes production more exspensive. Requires light and airy soil. It is recommended to return to the crop rotation every four years. The aim of this study was to determine how each method of cultivation affects the yield of tubers. The cultivation of potatoes was carried out in three ways: the classical method of cultivation, the cultivation of potatoes ina a "bag" and the cultivation of potatoes under staw mulch. The obtaiend results showed that the highest yield is given bythe classical method of cultivation, while the other two methods gave worse results.
